Shirin Shojapour-Otero, Esq.
Shirin is an LA native and a proud UCLA Bruin. Having immigrated to Los Angeles at the age of five, Shirin is intimately familiar with the challenges that many Angelinos face based on their ethnicity, religion and familial status, etc. As a renter most of her life, Shirin knows the difficulty that renters experience with their management companies and landlords daily. With 22 years of experience as a lawyer and specializing in landlord-tenant law for nearly a decade, Shirin is dedicated to helping renters with discrimination, habitability, harassment, and a host of other issues that tenants face daily. Shirin firmly believes that most renters don't know their rights resulting in tenants being taken advantage of by management companies and landlords. Witnessing firsthand how the treatment of tenants worsened during and since the pandemic, Shirin wants to give renters a voice and help families obtain the just compensation that they deserve.
